Krillin was walking around West City; Master Roshi was making him pick up some “informational magazines”. As he was walking he heard the distinct, yet distant, sirens of police cars. Smiling slightly too himself Krillin began to run towards the direction of the sound.
Upon arriving Krillin quickly assessed the situation. It was a stick up at the local bank, the three male robbers had hostages and almost 2 dozen cops were aiming their guns solely on the door. ‘Simple’ he thought as he walked towards the arch of cop cars.
“Don’t worry boys, I’ll handle this.” Krillin said while rotating his shoulder as he walked through the arch.
“Whoa kid, hold on!” Said one of the cops putting his hand on his shoulder to stop him; “don’t go in there you’ll get yourself killed.”
“Trust me, I won’t be the one getting killed,” As he said this Krillin grabbed the cops hand and crushed it, breaking 3 of the cops fingers, before pulling it off of his shoulder.
The cop fell backwards in pain and surprise; he grabbed hold of his hand and looked from it to Krillin and back. He slowly nodded as he crawled away, trembling.
Krillin continued to walk towards the bank; none of the cops were brave enough to do anything to stop him, smiling the entire way. ‘This should be fun’.
When Krillin entered the bank all 3 robbers turned around stunned pointing their pistols and assault rifles at Krillin, “Freeze kid what are you doing in here,” said one of the robbers who had a pistol.
“Was just stopping by to kick your guys’ ass, is that a problem?”
“Well we were having trouble deciding which hostage to kill to prove our point, you’ll work nicely.” Said the thief who was holding on to the assault rifle.
Krillin looked behind the robbers at the hostages there were 20 of them in all. More than half of them were women and children. “Well then, bring it.” As Krillin began to walk towards them one of the robbers shot at Krillin’s foot, the bullet just barely missing.
“Freeze right where you are or the next one won’t miss.”
Krillin chuckled before running full sprint at the robbers. As they shot the bullets simply bounced off of him, (If Goku wasn’t effected by bullets in episode 1 of Dragon ball neither am I god damn it.) causing the robbers to cower as they tried, in vain, to gun Krillin down.
In a matter of seconds Krillin was upon the robbers he walked up the man with the assault rifle grabbed the barrel of his gun and twisted it upwards. Krillin smirked at the robbers shock and awe before delivering a swift punch to the mans stomach and throwing him at the second robber. With both men on the floor Krillin rushed in front of the last robber where Krillin noticed a small puddle forming at the man’s feet. “What’s the matter scared?” Krillin focused kicked the man in the head causing him to fly towards the wall where he lay unconscious bleeding profusely from his head.
Krillin turned back towards the other two and picked up the one of was still conscious “So what did you and your friends learn today.”
“I… I promise we won’t do anything again, we’ll be good, just please don’t kill us.” The man said as tears formed in his fearful eyes.
“You wish I was that nice,” Krillin head butted the man causing the man to fall unconscious.
Krillin saluted the former hostages and move around picking up all of the robbers and dragged them behind him. Upon exiting the bank he threw the 3 robbers on to the ground in front of him. While the cops applauded his bravery he put his hands in his pockets and began to casually walk away as if nothing had happened.
Krillin looked back towards the cops and acknowledged their stupefied faces. He smiled to himself before looking down to his clothes; they were completely shredded and full of bullet holes. “Guess I better go buy some new clothes.” Krillin mumbled to himself before heading off towards the nearest clothing store.
The monk bought a simple outfit to replace his precious orange gi that he had had for years. A simple pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt, he would get another gi when he got back to master roshi’s place.
Krillin was just about ready to leave West City when he remembered that he had a job to do. He still had to pick up Master Roshi’s “informational magazines” from across town. After walking for nearly half an hour he reached Master Roshi’s “man of honor”. After paying him the 200 zenni he had gotten from Master Roshi he took the magazines and began to walk away.
As he continued to walk he saw a bright light in the distance, he smiled to himself as he heard the subtle and distant sounds of combat. “This should be interesting; Master Roshi can wait for a while.” Krillin was off again heading towards the location of the bright lights.
Upon arriving at the scene Krillin could see 5 aliens, each of them looking as menacing as the last and they were tormenting a group of human police officers. “Hey leave them alone.” Krillin said as he approached the aliens.
One of the aliens, a short purple alien who looked much like a shorter Cui, reached up to his scouter and began to read it as it scanned Krillin’s power level. “This human is much stronger than some of the others we have come across his power level is 100.”
“Interesting, I guess he will do fine for our testing purposes, we will bring him with us.”
“Like hell you will,” As the aliens began to walk towards Krillin, Krillin quickly got into a fighting stance. ‘These guys are all stronger than I am, if I have to fight these guys I’m going to get destroyed. I have to think of something.’
The aliens all lunged at Krillin each of them sending two punches, Krillin was hard pressed to dodge the attacks but he was able to. “Good they are not that fast I might have a chance.” Krillin was forced on the defensive as the onslaught of attacks continued. After a moment Krillin managed to launch a single focused kick at one of the aliens, this one a tall green man with 4 arms, knocking him out of the way momentarily.
With only 4 aliens to dodge Krillin was having an easier time of it but he was quickly getting exhausted being forced to fight in such an uncomfortable style for such a long time. Krillin knew he had to get on the offensive soon but the only question was how.
No sooner than this thought had gone through his mind was his mind completely wiped. The alien he had kicked aside earlier managed to sneak up on Krillin and with a swift chop to the back of the neck knocked him unconscious.
Krillin awoke several hours later in a daze (Love Family Guy), “ugh where am I?” He simply said as he looked around the room that he was now in. He was lying on a small, rather hard, bed inside a very small room. One of the walls was made of bars forming a jail cell. Upon closer examination Krillin could tell that both the walls and the metal on the bars were made of the same material. It was an element that Krillin recognized as Katchin.
Realizing that trying to break out of the jail cell would be impossible Krillin simply lay back down on the bed and waited for his captors to come and get him. Krillin stared at the ceiling for about 10 minutes before he drifted off to sleep.
“Hey wake up maggot!” Krillin jumped awake ready to fight but quickly relaxed when he saw a blue alien, about Krillin’s size on the other side of the Katchin bars. “Come on we don’t have all day.” The alien raised his hand to the bar, a bright red light scanned it and the bars disappeared.
Krillin looked at the alien with a critical eye. ‘Even if I could beat him, I would be killed before I escaped, might as well just do what he wants.’ Krillin walked towards the alien with his hands behind his head. “So what am I doing here?” He said casually despite the situation he was in.
“We are assessing the combat abilities of the people of your planet. We’ve already a few humans and we weren’t impressed then some of our men came across you. You’re our next guinea pig now get moving.” The alien pushed Krillin in front of him and verbally led him to the testing facilities.
Upon entering the testing facilities Krillin realized he was in a plain white room. The door that he entered was shut and quickly disappeared. On the other side of the room a door appeared and a man in a white coat, obviously a human doctor, walked towards him. “I…I… I was told b-b-by the a-aliens to give you a full p-physical.” He nervously said as he pulled his stethoscope over his ears.
After a couple minutes Krillin was given a clean bill of health and the doctor began to walk away towards the door that he entered from. Once he went through it also disappeared.
Once the door was closed, Krillin was shocked to see that the room had changed into a large open plain. As Krillin looked around in shock and awe that something this major had just happened. Realizing that this was probably the test that the aliens were talking about he started to get into a fighting stance.
No sooner than when he was settled in his fighting stance was when the door reappeared and a tall, rather fat, red alien appeared through it. “Hello there little man!”
Krillin, though a little shaken, was rather excited for the fight. He lived to fight; whenever he had the opportunity to fight he was participating in the battle. He had come close to dying many a times; he was always ready to die and would always be sure to go down fighting. This was no different.
Krillin didn’t wait for the red alien to say any more, Krillin rushed towards the alien ready to give it all he got. Krillin quickly launched four punches at the alien’s rather large gut. Upon connecting his fists sank into the aliens’ stomach and were bounced back seemingly not doing any damage.
The large alien brought down his fist causing Krillin to jump backwards easily dodging the alien’s slow attack. “Well that didn’t work; I’ll have to figure out something if I even want to do any damage.” Krillin jumped into the air and over the alien before turning around attempting to trip the alien.
The alien, barely able to keep up with Krillin’s superior speed, was unable to dodge the attack and promptly fell onto his back. Krillin took this opportunity to bring down his foot in a powerful focused kick breaking the alien’s nose.
The alien rolled away before Krillin could attack again and wiped the blood from under his nose. “You are going to pay for that.” He said as he stood up. The alien launched towards Krillin and swung at him.
Krillin ducked under the punched and delivered his own punch to the alien’s stomach. This time it seemed Krillin had gotten past the aliens sturdy defense when the alien began to stumble backwards clenching his stomach. “Hold still so I can punch you, yelled the alien through grit teeth.
“Yeah, I don’t think I will.” Krillin launched forward again, using his agility to his advantage, and punched the alien 3 times in the face but this attack left him open to the alien’s punch launching Krillin backwards.
Krillin slowly began to get on his feet, that punch was easily one of the most powerful punches he had ever felt, he knew that he could only take 1 maybe 2 more of those before he would be down for the count.
‘Alright, I got to make sure not to get hit again; if I get hit I might be done for.’ Krillin got back onto his feet and cracked his knuckles. “Is that all you got?!?” He yelled out before rushing back into combat. Krillin began attacking as fast as he could, always staying light on his toes in order to avoid the powerful blows from his large adversary.
After 10 minutes of this Krillin backed away, both Krillin and the alien were winded. “You’re pretty good.” Krillin said through his heavy breaths.
“You’re not bad yourself you little runt. But if I can get my hands on you it will be over. I just need a minute.” The alien began to power up and as he did so his body seemed to be slimming down.
‘Does this guy think I’m an idiot?’ Krillin launched towards the alien and delivered a barrage of punches and kicks in an attempt to prevent the transformation. But it was all in vain as the alien completed his transformation and the resulting wave of energy launched Krillin backwards.
The alien now stood at the height of an average human adult, which was about 2 feet shorter than his last form, and was fairly well built. “I’m weaker in this form but you’ll find that I am also much faster, you should feel honored its not often someone can withstand one of my punches let alone force me to transform.”
‘Well he’s lost his bulk, maybe if I can get a couple clean hits on him I can knock him out.’ With that thought both the alien and Krillin launched towards each other the battle raged with much more ferocity than before. “I’m not going down so easy.” Krillin said in the midst of the fight. He managed to land a few good hits but with each blow he landed he was hit just as hard from his adversary. After a moment the two knocked each other backwards.
Both of them were bleeding and covered in several battle wounds, sweat was flowing profusely down the two warrior’s body. One of the aliens arm was bent at an odd angle was hanging limp and useless to his side. “You little brat, how are you so strong.”
“It’s simple really, I just refuse to die.” Krillin launched towards the alien and delivered a focused kick to its head. The alien’s head flew off its body, wide eyed and amazed at Krillin sudden burst of speed. The headless body fell limply to the ground at Krillin’s feet.
“Maybe you should learn how to do that some time.” The room turned back to its original white and the door he entered from reappeared. Krillin limped towards the door; holding on to his shoulder, upon exiting the room the alien from earlier was waiting for him.
“Good battle, your next one will be soon, I shall take you to the vita-chamber so you can be healed for it.” Krillin slowly followed the alien until he reached the room filled with Vita-tanks. He was helped into one where he fell into a deep sleep.
