Slug had spent a lot of time training and could feel his power level increasing. Solitude in the wilderness provided a shelter from the distractions of the outside Earth. Slug was beginning to grow bored with his surroundings as he hadn’t had any action since the encounter with the old man a few days ago. Slug boosted off into the air and headed off to look for some excitement. The solitude had allowed Slug time to reflect on his recent actions, yet he felt no remorse for what had happened. Instead, Slug’s heart grew cold with anger towards the inhabitants of earth. Slug felt as though he had been outcast by the people of earth, and if they wanted a tyrant from any humanoid with green skin, then that is what he would give them…
Slug hovered high above a remote highway system far away out in the country side. He spotted a lone car traveling briskly down the road. Slug decided this would be as good a time as any to try out his newly learned move; kakusandan. He threw a large energy ball into the air in the direction of the speeding car. The ball exploded into four smaller energy balls that rained down directly into the path of the vehicle. The car dodged one energy ball and was blown off the side of the road as the other landed directly beside it. The car launched off the runway and careened down into a form of large oak trees. Cries of terror rang out into the air as an explosion erupted into a fire. Slug landed down on the road between skid marks that were still smoking with the stench of burning rubber from the vehicle’s tires. Slug was looking down at the crash when he heard something. Glancing to the left he noticed another vehicle was speeding towards his direction. Slug smirked, spit to the asphalt and walked to the center of the road staring down the vehicle in the distance. The approaching vehicle’s driver noticed the odd figure in the center of the road, but continued to speed down the highway at an alarming rate. Slug jumped into the air, laughing as he held himself suspended in mid air. The scared driver continued down the road, attempting to drive under Slug and continue on its way. As the car drove underneath him, Slug dove down and attached himself to the roof of the car.
The car sped down the road as Slug gripped the top of the car tightly. He stood up on the hood and slammed his feet down crumpling the hood of the car on the driver as he then jumped and flew into the air. Slug turned to observe the crumpled car lose control and crash into the barricade. Harassing motorists was an enjoyable task, yet Slug needed some more challenging entertainment if he was going to enjoy his day. Slug was not the least bit concerned with the fact that suddenly his joy was only coming from the suffering of others. If the world was not going to leave him alone to be happy then he would make it his code to put his that same hex anyone he pleased. However, if Slug was going to do this he knew he would need more power. And the only way to do that was to train harder…
Slug flew off into the distance looking for more free entertainment. Flying up the highway, Slug passed over a few cars and smaller vehicles until he spotted a large eighteen wheel hauling truck heading in his direction. If this large truck wasn’t going to provide some sort of challenge, then it was obvious that no motor vehicle would. Slug flew down directly in front of the speeding truck and braced himself for impact. The truck driver had no time to do anything but lay on the horn as he sped into Slug. The truck slammed into Slug as it threw on its brakes. The truck came to a grinding halt and Slug laid a few feet ahead dripping with a little blood from his forearm yet mostly intact. The befuddled truck driver spilled out of his truck screaming, “Holy shit are you okay?! Do you-!” He cut short as he noticed the person he had just hit was a green alien like humanoid. Slug sat up looking at the truck noticing the entire front of it was crumpled and all but ruined. Slug’s arm was bleeding and his neck was a little wrenched, but overall he was fine. Slug stood to his feet, cracking his neck and fingers as the truck driver staggered back towards his truck. Slug laughed and walked towards the truck driver who turned with a yelp and began to run. A quick eye beam from Slug’s eyes hit the truck driver in the back of the legs as he fell to the ground slamming his head off the asphalt. Slug walked up on him, grabbing him by his heel and holding him upside down.
“This is your vehicle? You hit me.” Slug calmly said as he spit on the man he was holding from the ankle.
The truck driver was injured and scared as he tried to reply upside down, “You, you came out in front of me! What do you want? Are, are-y-you? The one?” It was all he could manage to sputter out in his moment of fear.
“The one?,” Slug replied surprisingly. “That’s a pretty interesting question. The one…heh.” Slug laughed to himself as he let loose his grip of the truck driver who then crumpled to the ground. “The one who is going to make you regret you were ever born on this planet.”
Slug pounced on the truck driver, ripping his sharp fingernails into the flesh of the man and repeatedly punched him until the truck driver stopped moving. Slug stood to his feet, hovering over his victim. He spit as he muffled, “Pitiful…”
Slug boosted into the air, headed off back to the wilderness to find more solitude for training. The kills today hadn’t bothered him, instead it had only fueled his ambition for more power. The simple beings of earth were becoming obsolete as training dummies and he was going to need some live training with real powers if he was going to get stronger.
