After so much time in darkness, Turles thought returning to consciousness was a lot less comforting than it should have been. One by one his senses returned to him. Instead of constant blackness, blurred indistinguishable shapes starting materializing out of nothingness and stung his eyes. The feeling in his arms, legs and all over his body come back to him with painful results. It felt like almost every bone was broken and more than once and that he was lying on his back. The smell of cold sterile metal alloy entered his nostrils and he starting hearing an all too familiar hum of powerful generators. He realized that he was onboard a…...
“Spaceship,” Turles said as the last of his senses returned to him.
It took a couple of minutes but his vision finally returned to him. In that time he managed to sit up and confirm that the sound he heard in the distance were indeed space generators. He looked around himself. He was in the middle of a large square blue room. In each of the corners of the room was a black speaker. Aside from that there was nothing else Turles could see. He looked at himself to find most of the rare armour he treasured destroyed and he was wearing mere fragments of the once powerful suit.
“At last you’re awake,” a mysterious voice started to boom from the speakers.
“What have you done to me!” the young warrior shouted back.
“What we have done Turles is saved your life so if I were you I would act grateful.”
“Save my life, you have almost killed me. Look at my condition,” Turles argued.
“If you want blame anyone for your condition, you can blame yourself for trying to destroy earth,” the voice replied.
“What are you…!”
And then Turles remembered. He remembered Earth. He remembered the Tree of Might. And he remembered being destroyed with the spirit bomb. Or was he?
“But I’m dead.”
“You should have been but luckily for you we were travelling in the same area of space your dying body was floating in.”
“But why. Who are you? Where am I? What have you to gain by keeping me alive?”
“You’ll be told eventually but for now I think you have overstayed your welcome," the mysterious voice said gleefully. "See ya around Turles. Oh and a word of advice. Don’t land head first.”
Suddenly the floor starting opening up beneath Turles revealing an expanse of water 30 feet below. Turles thought to power up and fly away to safety but found to his dismay he couldn’t do it. It was a feeling unfamiliar to him. It felt like all the power and most of his techniques he has attained through the years had simply vanished.
“This is a most unfortunate development,” Turles said sarcastically. He looked down. “And that is going to be most painful,” he said as the metal floor beneath him disappeared and he fell into the unknown.
As he fell Turles heard one last thing from the mysterious voice.
“Welcome to Namek.”
