Fr ieza landed in a small clearing a few miles away from the last town he had terrorized. His tail ached in the tender area around the bee bee wounds across the lower end. The clearing was empty except for a few rocks and a single small bush, frieza sat down for a few minutes taking in deep breaths of the cool flower-scented air. The changeling stood up slowly cringing at his wound and steadily paced around the clearing studying the tall plentiful oak trees in the surrounding area. Frieza sat again on a larger grey rock and began to pull out the bee bees from the small holes across his tail. After he had removed each bee bee and plugged the wounds with grass and leaves Frieza again returned to his feet and took to the sky. Frieza peered across the terrain, the sun glinting against the large jewel encrested between his horns. The changeling focused in on the next closest city in sight just a few miles to the west. Frieza quickly flew off in its direction.
Minutes later he landed in the center of the city, a busy plaza hosting numerous shops and a small food court. He was closest to the eating area where numerous civilians stared in shock at the warrior from their tall black stools. A larger young man with short black hair stood up, wearing a plain black cut off shirt and athletic shorts, he stepped towards Frieza and started to laugh.
“What are you some kind of freak,” He asked pushing out his chest.
Frieza smirked then lunged forward throwing a right hook directly into the man’s jaw causing him to fly backward a few feet and land on the ground hard knocking over a table. A few of the civilians rushed out of the plaza and across the bustling streets. Frieza chuckled as he hurled ki blast after ki blast into the various shops and across the entire plaza destroying nearly everything after only a few moments. Frieza slowly walked away from the smoking ruins of the once sparkling plaza. The section of town he had just entered was a large business district with many expansive buildings. Many people were now staring out the hundreds of windows down onto the strange alien. Frieza now floating just above the ground slowly advanced forward down the side walk as most civilians darted away. He soon grew bored of mere intimidation and sprinted across the street to the nearest human and sent a focused kick to the man’s leg dropping him to the ground in shouts of agony. Frieza then turned right looking for his next victim when suddenly a steady electronic beat filled the air Frieza whirled around in the direction of the music a man dressed in a red Kevlar suit intricately laced with black designs stepped forward. In addition to the suit the strange figure also wore a darker red cape and a helmet with a tinted plastic visor. He stood with both hands on his hips, and stared in the direction of Frieza. The changeling stared back at the strange red human.
“Greetings creature, I am the protector of this great city, I am the Red Defender,” he stated boldly, “I must demand that you leave immediately or I will be forced to act as a vigilante.”
“Try me.” Frieza said plainly.
The Red defender rushed forward sending a series of well maneuvered punches at Frieza but he was able to dodge them all making it quite apparent that he was faster than the human. Frieza instantly jumped upward sending a focused kick into the red defenders ribs knocking him to the ground. The Red Defender quickly returned to his feet punching frieza hard in the sternum. Hardly phased Frieza slammed his shoulder into his opponent’s stomach again dropping him to the ground. Frieza quickly took advantage of the situation by launching a ki blast from each hand into the forearms of the blocking man.
“You are a very powerful creature, perhaps it is time that I show you what this suit can really do,” the Red defender shouted as he returned to his feet.
“Perhaps then you will pose a decent challenge,” Frieza laughed crossing his arms in impatience.
